As many of you know, last night, the world-famous Avicii, aka Tim Berg, held an eight hour event at Governor’s Island in New York City. The event sold out within hours and there’s a very good reason for this. I had the incredible opportunity to go backstage, thanks to Avicii and his management. (Ash and Filip with AtNight Management).

Let’s start off by saying this was the single-most incredible event that I have ever attended. The energy was amazing, and there was never a dull moment during the concert. And this is why Avicii is our number one favorite producer/DJ at Fresh Guaranteed. At only 21, Tim, knows exactly what he’s doing and he’s changing the techno world and even the international music world as we speak.

I was talking to somebody at the event, and what’s incredible is that this era of techno music really is changing the game. Never since the woodstock era have you had these types of crowds coming out to these types of day/night long-events. Tim Bergling (Avicii) is spear-heading this campaign, there is no doubt about that.

To be quite honest, the only other DJ that are competing with Avicii at the moment is Swedish House Mafia, and personally I think Avicii is just starting is game while SHM is passing their prime, somewhat. He is one of the youngest out there and is by far the most talented. I always knew he was incredibly talented, but until last night, I never knew just how much of a Renaissance man he truly is.

I have never felt SO much energy in a concentrated area as last night. But what’s even more incredible is this guy’s stamina. I think many people sometime don’t realize the strenuous amounts that these guys go through while on tour. For example, he was in Las Vegas the night before Governor’s Island. To be able to do these types of events night-after-night is simply remarkable.

Avicii’s set last night was easily the best set put together that I have ever heard. It was just north of 3 hours long, and quite honestly, there was literally NEVER banal moment during the whole thing. Alot of times people really undermine the preparation that goes into masterminding these sets. It’s not like he just put this together on the spot. Every single piece is planned out so perfectly, at least that is the way I read it.

The energy built throughout the night and Avicii dropped all of the top songs and some new ones including the range of all of his new ID tracks and many other classics that kept the crowd so involved. That’s why he’s so loved.

The bottom line is, the music game is changing as we speak. This is the future of music as we know it. You can tell, practically every top song on iTunes these days as a top DJ on the production credits (or not, in the case of Leona Lewis; who allegedly stole Avicii’s track and released on the Radio. Things, dont go unnoticed!)

As many of you know and believe, Avicii will be the face of this campaign.
